Yes, 2007 is almost coming to a close and this is the time when so many of us start writing out our new year's resolutions, what we'd like to accomplish in the next year, goals we have, where we see our lives going. A year is ending and another is beginning and it's a time to start with a clean slate and plunge forward. Time keeps passing us by and we need to do all those things we want to...now. We need to find that which motivates us, inspires us and challenges us, and we need to do it. Whatever it may be, big or small, we need to do that which makes us happy. Let go of this past year, it's already gone, and hold on to the new year with appreciation and inspiration.
I heard a line in a movie recently that said something like, "Go out there and do that which sets you apart from everyone else." Don't settle for being ordinary. Be the most amazing, unique, and special person you were created to be.
Have an amazing 2008 and start it with a fresh beginning and a new perspective.

Hockey Highlights
O.k. ladies, in case you ever want to impress a guy with some hockey knowledge, here goes:
Kings lost last night against the San Jose Sharks, who are also a rival team kind of like the Dodgers and the Giants. Well, we got our butts kicked but the second Kings' goal with twenty-seven seconds left in the third period was good enough for me!
Michael Camalleri was out for the game, and according to hockey enthusiasts, that's where we took our biggest hit, not on the ice against the boards.
Apparently the Kings are in last place in the Western Conference, but they do have four players contending for a spot on the all stars game. Their "Vote for Me" ads are really great!
Jessie and I went to our first of five Kings games last night and I have to say, L.A. has a very interesting mix of hockey fans. The lady next to me was texting on her Blackberry for a while until she put it safely away in her Louis Vuitton bag and was accurately calling out bad plays. I was surprisingly impressed. On the other side of us was a group of very interesting, yet menacing looking older guys whom I never would've placed as hockey fans. Jessie and I successfully avoided eye contact with them for our own protection.
All in all, it was another great night at a hockey game. I don't care what anyone says about L.A. sports fans, they love their teams and they definitely show it.
GO KINGS!
